EUL Relaunches Its Website – A New Platform for the Underground Research Community
The European Underground Laboratories Association (EUL) is pleased to relaunch its website with a renewed design, clearer structure and a stronger focus on the activities of our members and the wider underground research community.
The previous EUL website provided an important starting point for introducing the association and its members. As EUL has developed into an operational European association, our communication needs have also changed. The renewed website is therefore designed to become an active platform for sharing information, connecting laboratories and making underground research infrastructures more visible.
What is new?
The redesigned site provides clearer information about EUL, its member laboratories, Executive Board and Scientific Advisory Board, while making it easier to follow current activities through dedicated News and Events sections.
Visitors can now find upcoming EUL and community events directly from the website, together with news about member laboratories, research projects, conferences and other developments relevant to underground research.
We are also developing an EUL Database as a growing resource for researchers, students, industry and organisations interested in underground laboratories and underground environments. The database is intended to bring together scientific publications, theses, reports and other useful resources related to the activities and research fields represented within the EUL community.
A platform that will continue to grow
The relaunch is a starting point rather than the end of the development process.
During the coming months, we plan to expand the presentation of our member laboratories, introduce laboratory spotlight features, develop the EUL Database further and provide more regular news from across the network. Information about the EUL Award for outstanding Master’s and Doctoral theses, association activities and opportunities for cooperation will also be published through the site.
The website will increasingly complement our LinkedIn presence: short updates can reach the community through social media, while the EUL website provides a more permanent home for news, events, resources and information about our members.
We warmly invite EUL members to contribute. News from member laboratories, publications, project results, events, research opportunities and other relevant material are welcome and can help us build a useful shared resource for the European underground research community.
Welcome to the renewed EUL website — and please check back as it continues to grow.
